Chicken Kurma Recipe
Ingredients:
Chicken - ½ kg
Onion - 4 nos (make it a paste)
Tomato - 5
nos
Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tspn
Cinnamon - 2nos
Bay leaf - 2
nos
Star anise - 3
nos
Cloves
- 3nos
Coriander leaves
Curry Leaves
Oil
Water
Home made chilli powder
-
1 ½ tspn
Chilli Chicken 65 Masala -
1 tspn
Grated coconut - ½ ( make a paste of it)
Salt to taste
Process:
Step 1:
In a
kadai add required amout of oil. Once the oil gets heated add cinnamon, bay
leaves, star anise, cloves and sauté them. After that add the onion paste to it
and sauté until it turns golden brown.
Step 2:
Add
ginger garlic paste and sauté until it leaves the raw smell. Add tomatoes and
sauté well. Add some curry leaves and sauté few more minutes. Add chicken to it
and sauté for about 10 mins.
Step 3:
Add home
made chilli powder, salt, chilli chicken 65
masala and water to it. Cover the kadai with a lid and allow to boil for
15 mins.
Step 4:
After 15
mins add the coconut paste to the curry and let it to boil until the kurma
becomes thick. Then add coriander leaves and turn off the stove. Now Chicken
Kurma is ready to serve.
