Cluster Beans Recipe ( Kothavarangai Poriyal)
Ingredients:
Cluster Beans
- 250 gms
Onion
- 1
Chana dal
- 1 tspn
Turmeric powder
- ½ tspn
Home made chilli powder
- 1 tspn
Ground nut powder -
3 tspn ( sauted, skin peeled and powdered )
Water
Mustard seeds
Oil
Salt to taste
Process:
1. In a cooker add cluster beans, turmeric powder, salt and
water. Cover with the lid and cook for 1 whistle.
2. Drain the water completely.
3. In a kadai, add mustard seed, channa dal, onion and sauté
them well.
4. Add cluster beans,
home made chilli powder and mix them well. Add salt if required.
5. Add the ground nut powder and mix well. Switch off the
stove.
6. Ready to serve.
